On January 11, 2024, a seminar titled "Innovation is a Vital Component of Medical Science" was conducted at Zakho University College of Medicine in the presence of the President of the UoZ, Dr. Nadhim S. Abdulaziz, the Vice President for Scientific Affairs and Postgraduate Studies, Dr. Jasim M. Abdu, and the Dean of the College of Medicine, Dr. Nawfal R. Hussein.

The event, organized in collaboration with Duhok University, featured presentations by various doctors, including Dr. Nawfal R. Hussein, Dr. Amin M. Ahmed, Dr. Nizar B. Yahya, and Aamer A. Mohi. The seminar encompassed a range of medical topics, fostering scientific discussions among the participants.
